Led by a team of Australia's most esteemed ballet teachers and professionals, including the renowned Academy Principal Jane Moore, who herself trained under the esteemed Principal ballerina Kathleen Gorham, this program guarantees a world-class training experience.
What sets this program apart is its comprehensive approach to ballet education. Students will receive training in a wide range of disciplines, including classical ballet, pointe work, repertoire, contemporary dance, character dance, and more. But that's not all! The program also covers essential components such as RAD vocational syllabus, body conditioning, Pilates, yoga, creating a CV, eisteddfod solo and troupe training, and scholarship solo coaching.
For those wishing to pursue their ballet dreams with unwavering dedication, our full-time ballet students even have the opportunity to study their secondary school academic subjects through VSV and undertake VCE VET Dance Cert II in dance. This ensures a holistic development that combines both academic and artistic growth.
Auditions for the Classical Coaching Programme are held annually, but we also offer the option to apply at other times, subject to availability of places. The audition fee is priced at $40, and to apply, students simply need to fill out an application form and return it to us via post or email.
