We also have a Code of Conduct in place to ensure that everyone at City of Sheffield Gymnastics Club feels safe, respected, and supported. This code outlines the behaviour expected from both parents and participants, promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all.

At City of Sheffield Gymnastics Club, safety is our top priority. Our coaching team is highly experienced and qualified, with all coaches being British Gymnastics Association qualified. They have undergone enhanced DBS checks and Safeguarding and Protecting Children courses to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Our gymnastics centre is bright, spacious, and well-equipped, spanning an impressive 6000 square feet. It is one of the largest gymnastics facilities in the region, providing ample space for training and practise. The centre is also available for hire, making it a versatile venue for parties, events, and other sports or fitness activities.

Parents can relax and enjoy a cup of tea in our special viewing lounge while watching their children train. This lounge offers a comfortable and secure space for parents to observe training sessions and feel assured that their children are in capable hands.

City of Sheffield Gymnastics Club has a rich history, originally founded by Sheffield City Council. It has since transitioned to private funding, with head coach Andrew Farquharson taking over and leading the club to great success. In June 2016, the club celebrated a milestone by moving into its dedicated gymnastics centre in Waleswood, Rotherham.

We pride ourselves on our gymnastics programme, offering a wide range of classes for children and adults. From pre-school and recreational gymnastics to the British Gymnastics Award Scheme and national-level competitive gymnastics, we cater to individuals of all abilities. We also provide private tuition and personal training options for those looking for more personalised coaching.
