City of Peterborough Hockey Club is one of the largest hockey clubs in the country, boasting over 350 members and continuing to grow. The club competes in the England National Hockey Men's and Ladies East leading Leagues, showcasing the high level of talent within the organisation.

The club prides itself on being a part of the COPHC Family, a close-knit community of players, parents, coaches, umpires, and volunteers who all share a love for the sport of hockey. With a wide range of age groups represented, from 5 to 75 years old, the club offers something for everyone. The goal is to provide a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where players can develop their skills, compete at their desired level, and make lasting friendships.

City of Peterborough Hockey Club offers various teams and leagues for both men and ladies. The club has 8 men's and 5 ladies' league sides that compete on Saturdays, providing competitive opportunities for experienced players. For younger players, there are junior hockey teams available for boys and girls aged 12 to 18, as well as mini hockey sessions for children aged 5 and up. The club also has Masters teams for Over 45s Ladies, Men's Over 40s, and Men's Over 50s, showcasing the diverse range of age groups catered to.

The club's Sunday Mini Hockey programme for 5 to 12 year olds is a particular focus, with the aim of nurturing potential stars for the future. These young players receive top-notch training from enthusiastic and experienced coaches, with support from first and second team players, as well as other parent and junior volunteers.

City of Peterborough Hockey Club is based at their own facilities at The Dalrod Sports Ground, Bretton Gate, Peterborough. The club's multi-sport site includes an AstroTurf pitch and a clubhouse. Additionally, the site offers other sports facilities such as tennis, cricket, bowls, squash, and racketball, providing a well-rounded sporting experience for members.
