Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson, the Founding Principal of the club, has played a significant role in its success. She represented Australia as a judge at the 2014 World Highland Dancing Championships in Scotland and has judged various championships throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Scotland. After her retirement in 2022, Jacqueline Gorjup TCRG took over as the Irish Dancing Teacher, and Rachael Fullston NDAAI assumed the role of the Highland Dancing Teacher.
Both Jacqueline and Rachael are highly qualified and experienced teachers in their respective dance styles. They are dedicated to continuing the legacy of the City of Cairns Highland and Irish Dancers and providing quality instruction to students in Cairns.
