Churchill Chimes Equestrian Centre, located in Whitchurch-Stouffville, is a horse riding school and boarding stable owned and operated by Barb Malcolm and her husband Rob Atwill since 1994. The facility provides a warm and peaceful environment for adult riders to learn and enjoy horses. With a focus on intermediate adult riders, Churchill Chimes offers a unique and diverse equestrian experience for its clients.
The equestrian school is set on a beautiful 50-acre farm situated on the rolling hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, providing a picturesque backdrop for horse riding activities. The facility boasts excellent facilities, a convenient location just 30 minutes from the 401 and 404 highways, and exceptional value for its clients. The care for both the horses and clients at Churchill Chimes is paramount, creating a welcoming and supportive community for riders.
The centre offers a limited number of openings in its lesson program for mature or returning adult riders, affectionately referred to as rusty stirrup riders. Please note that the riding school is tailored towards adult pleasure riders, and beginner lessons or camps are no longer offered. The fantastic herd of family-owned horses at Churchill Chimes ensures that clients have an educational and fulfilling experience while learning about and enjoying their time with the horses.
The community of riders at Churchill Chimes is truly special, with many clients having been part of the centre for over a decade, some even for more than 25 years. Barb Malcolm and Rob Atwill strive to provide a judgment-free haven for riders to explore their passion for horses and create lasting memories. Whether you are looking to improve your riding skills or simply enjoy the companionship of horses, Churchill Chimes Equestrian Centre is the perfect place to indulge in your equestrian pursuits.
