Churchgate Fishing Lakes is a fishing club nestled in the stunning Essex countryside. Known for its exceptional fishing opportunities, the club boasts three lakes that are fully open post-spawning, providing members with ample chances to land some of the biggest fish in the area. One of the main draws of Churchgate Fishing Lakes is its impressive selection of big fish. The complex is home to Carp pushing 40lb and Catfish pushing 100lb, making it an ideal destination for anglers seeking a challenging and rewarding fishing experience. The specimen water, known as the Top Lake, boasts a substantial number of 20+lb Carp, including a good selection of 30lb beauties. The Middle Lake, on the other hand, features Carp ranging from 10lb-25lb and Catfish from 15lb-90lb.

Additionally, the club plans to stock its lakes with another twenty 25+lb Carp in the near future.

In addition to its exceptional fishing opportunities, Churchgate Fishing Lakes also offers a fully stocked tackle shop and caf. Open to both members and the public, the shop features all the top brands in fishing gear, bait, tackle, luggage, and clothing. Visitors can also benefit from the local knowledge of experienced bailiffs who are on hand to offer advice and assistance. The caf serves delicious breakfast options, taking orders at anglers' swims and delivering them once prepared, complete with hot drinks.

Churchgate Fishing Lakes takes pride in providing premium facilities to ensure a comfortable angling experience for its members. Each lake has its own dedicated car park, and the complex features an outdoor shower block, a kitchenette, and luxury toilets located in the shop/caf. Under new ownership and with a clear vision, Churchgate Fishing Lakes aims to become the best carp fishery in Essex and the South East. The new owner has already made significant improvements, including the installation of fibre Wi-Fi and electric sockets in the newest swims, with plans to introduce these amenities to all member swims in the next 12 months. Furthermore, there are plans for a brand new Brasserie for an ultimate dining experience and the construction of luxury lodges along the waterside. The club is also implementing a fish restocking programme, with the aim of introducing 40lb+ carp into its waters within two years.
