Christchurch Dive Boat Charters is a diving centre located in Christchurch Harbour on the beautiful south coast of New Zealand. Nestled in the historic village of Mudeford, known for its rich history of smuggling, our dive centre offers a picturesque and vibrant location for divers of all levels.
With Christchurch Harbour on one side and the open sea on the other, our diving centre has become a popular destination for diving enthusiasts, as well as fishing, sailing, and windsurfing enthusiasts. The village of Mudeford offers a range of accommodations and dining options, including quayside beach-side cafés, restaurants, pubs, bistros, and traditional seafood pubs.
At Christchurch Dive Boat Charters, we offer a variety of diving services to cater to all your underwater exploration needs. Whether you are a local diver or a club on holiday, we have you covered. Our dive schedules run throughout the day and into the evenings during the summer, providing ample opportunities for diving adventures. We also have a minimum requirement of 2 divers for local dives and 4 divers for dives two miles out.
The waters surrounding Mudeford offer a plethora of dive sites, including the famous wreck of the Kyarra, drift diving over Christchurch ledge, Bolder alley, ledge point, Mud Bank, and Scallop gully. There is a wealth of interesting dive locations around the south side of the Isle of Wight, promising unforgettable underwater experiences.
In addition to our diving services, we also provide equipment refilling and offer a selection of diving equipment for purchase. Our dive centre is conveniently located near Tal Scuba, the local dive centre, making it easy for divers to access all their diving needs.
Booking a dive with Christchurch Dive Boat Charters is simple. You can book via email, phone, or through our online booking form. For club bookings, we are now taking bookings for 2020, so clubs can email us with their preferred dates, and we will confirm their booking. A 50% deposit is required for club/group bookings, with the balance to be paid two weeks before the date.
We understand that circumstances may change, and we have a cancellation policy in place. If you provide more than 2 weeks notice, we will provide a full refund. If you provide less than 2 weeks notice, a 50% refund will be given, unless we can fill your place, in which case a full refund will be made. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for cancellations made with less than 1 week notice.
At Christchurch Dive Boat Charters, we take pride in our boats. We have two boats, Vixen and Cab 1, fully equipped and coded for diving. Vixen is a 28 feet boat that can accommodate up to 10 divers and is suitable for dives up to 12 miles off the shore. Cab 1, on the other hand, is a 30 feet boat with a cruising speed that ensures a comfortable and enjoyable diving experience.
