At the Chinese Performing Arts Centre , students can immerse themselves in the rich traditions of Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Sanshou, all under the guidance of Shifu Shi Heng Sheng. As a 35th generation master from the Shaolin Temple China, Shifu brings an unparalleled level of expertise and authenticity to his teachings.
The centre prides itself on creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all students, regardless of age or experience level. One of the highlights of the centre is the opportunity to learn Chen style Tai Chi, which is known for its focus on concentration, circulation improvement, breathing control, and overall well-being. Students can also study genuine Shaolin Kung Fu, which not only improves strength, stamina, flexibility, and coordination, but also teaches valuable self-discipline and control.
The centre offers a wide range of classes throughout the week, catering to both children and adults. Weekday classes include Shaolin Kung Fu, Weapons & Acrobatics, and Tai Chi & Qigong. Weekend classes are open to both children and adults, with offerings such as Tai Chi & Qigong, Tai Chi & Weapons, Shaolin Kung Fu, Weapons & Acrobatics, and Sanshou - Chinese Kickboxing.
In addition to regular classes, the Chinese Performing Arts Centre also hosts special events and performances.
