Chineham Rugby Football Club

Chineham Rugby Football Club, located in the heart of Basingstoke, is a friendly and welcoming rugby club that caters to adults and children of all abilities. Whether you're new to the sport or an experienced player, Chineham RFC extends an open invitation for you to join their adult or youth rugby squads.

Adult training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Basingstoke Sports & Social Club on Fairfield Road, from 7 pm to 9 pm. The club also offers minis rugby for children aged 4 to 8 years on Sunday mornings from 10 am to 11 am, and midis rugby for kids aged 9 to 14 years from 10 am to 11:30 am. The first two sessions are free, giving you the opportunity to try out the sport before deciding to join the Chineham Lion Cubs.

Chineham RFC is proud to have a dedicated team of individuals who lead and support the club. Howard Pickett serves as the President, while Spencer Taylor takes on the role of Club Captain. Dave Wheaton serves as the Seniors Head Coach, ensuring that players receive top-notch training and guidance. The club also has a Safeguarding Officer, Mike Mayran, and First Aid volunteers Lisa Lincoln and Sandy readily available to ensure the safety and well-being of all club members.

Chineham RFC warmly welcomes players of all skill levels and backgrounds, and no prior experience is needed to join. The club emphasises a sense of community and encourages everyone to learn and grow together. Once you become a Chineham Lion, you'll always be part of the pride.
