Established in 1993, Child's World has been providing quality education and care for children in the local community for over 30 years. As a locally owned and operated centre, we are dedicated to supporting the Cairns community and providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
At Child's World Early Learning Centre, we operate four fully accredited and licenced childcare and kindergarten services from one convenient location. Our centre accommodates children from 6 weeks old in the Nursery, up to Kindergarten/Pre-School age. We also offer Before and After School Care, as well as Vacation Care programmes, ensuring that we cater to the needs of busy families throughout the year.
Each of our four centres boasts five separate, private, well-equipped rooms that are age-specific. These rooms provide a stimulating learning environment that fosters the development of each child and meets their individual needs. Our team of experienced educators are passionate about early childhood education and strive to create a safe and engaging space for children to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
Owned and operated by a local Cairns family with a wealth of experience in the early childhood education profession, Child's World Early Learning Centre is committed to setting the benchmark in early childhood education. We proudly support the Cairns community and various junior sporting clubs, actively contributing to the growth and well-being of the region.
Located at 2 Borrowdale Close, Bentley Park, our centre is conveniently situated next to Bentley Park College and is in proximity to local schools, Mount Sheridan Plaza Shopping Centre, and a short 10-minute drive from the Cairns CBD. This prime location ensures easy access for parents and provides a seamless transition between school and childcare.
At Child's World Early Learning Centre, our qualified teachers and educators are dedicated to providing children with the foundational knowledge, skills, and behaviours necessary for their future success. We offer early education and care for children from 12 months old to school age and provide a Free Kindergarten Programme for 4 to 5-year-olds. Our centre operates Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 6:30pm, accommodating the needs of working families.
In addition to our comprehensive early learning programmes, Child's World Early Learning Centre offers optional swimming lessons. As proud owners of an AUSTSWIM gold accredited swim centre since 2013, we have developed a swimming programme tailored to each child's individual needs. With a key focus on water safety, our programme progressively guides children through foundational swimming skills, stroke development, competitive strokes, and advanced survival strategies.
