Children of Lir Gymnastics Club, located in Dublin 15, was established in 2007 with the aim of providing children with opportunities to participate in gymnastics as a general sport and supporting their overall development through sports. Our dedicated Coaching Team is both talented and enthusiastic, ensuring that classes are tailored to meet the unique needs of each member. We offer General Gymnastics and Women's Artistic Gymnastics classes to cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels.
General Gymnastics classes at Children of Lir Gymnastics Club serve as a great starting point for children to have fun, make friends, stay active, and progress within the sport. These classes are open to children aged 4 and up and include a mix of dance, apparatus gymnastics, and team sports to introduce participants to various elements of the sport. Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) classes focus on four main pieces of equipment: the Vault, Asymmetric Bars, Beam, and Floor, providing a more structured and competitive environment for those interested in taking their gymnastics skills to the next level.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Children of Lir Gymnastics Club has developed a detailed plan to safely resume operations in accordance with government safety directives. This plan includes implementing strict hygiene and social distancing measures, organising coaches into separate pods to prevent overlap, adjusting arrival and departure times to ensure safety guidelines are followed, and regularly updating policies based on current guidance. The safety and well-being of our athletes, coaches, and their families are our top priority, and we are committed to providing a safe training environment for all members.
