West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts (WOAPA) is a local Contemporary Dance club in Witney that offers quality tuition in singing, dancing, and acting for children. WOAPA believes that the love for performing arts should be nurtured from an early age. That's why they have a Young Performers program designed for children aged 4-6. In these fun-packed sessions, young ones can learn singing, dance, and drama in a supportive and engaging environment.
WOAPA makes sure to accommodate varying schedules, offering classes on Fridays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm, as well as on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, 10:45 am to 11:45 am, and 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. For children aged 7-16, WOAPA has its Main School divided into three different age groups: Act 1 (7-9 years), Act 2 (10–12 years), and Act 3 (13–16 years). Main School sessions are held on Fridays from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Not leaving out the older performers, WOAPA has an Encore! Class designed for ages 16-21. This class provides further training in the performing arts, with a focus on preparing for auditions, performances, and building confidence in public speaking and performance. The Encore! Class takes place on Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Located at The Henry Box School in Witney, Oxfordshire, WOAPA offers a convenient location with plenty of drop-off space and free parking available. Parents can relax in local bars and cafés or browse the shops while their children have a blast at WOAPA, knowing that they are in safe hands.
