Angelina Jandolo Dance - Blackheath is a local Contemporary Dance club based in London that is excited to promote a special upcoming event. This event is aimed at individuals who have a keen interest in contemporary dance and are looking for a unique and thrilling experience.
At Angelina Jandolo Dance - Blackheath, we strive to provide top-quality tap classes for children across various venues in the South East and East areas of London, such as Greenwich, Blackheath, and Eltham. Our team of talented tap teachers have received professional training from internationally-renowned dance schools and conservatoires, and have even performed at national and international levels.
We welcome children of all levels of experience, whether they are beginners or intermediate dancers. Our classes are designed to cater to each student's individual pace and progress, ensuring that they feel comfortable and supported as they embark on their tap dancing journey. We offer the option to take IDTA-syllabus exams to further enhance their skills, although it is not mandatory.
Our tap classes for children are not just about honing their technique, but also about creating a fun and friendly environment where they can make new friends. We understand the importance of fostering a sense of community among our young dancers, and our classes provide the perfect opportunity for them to socialise and grow together.
For those interested in getting a taste of what we have to offer, parents can start their child with a single lesson to see how they enjoy it. We believe in providing flexibility and convenience to our students and their families. Therefore, we have provided timetables for children's tap classes in Greenwich, Blackheath, Eltham, and Dulwich on our website, making it easy for everyone to find a suitable class near them.
In addition to our regular tap classes, we also offer preparatory tap classes for children aged 3 and up, which are short 15-minute add-on classes that take place after primary ballet lessons. Furthermore, we have primary tap classes for children aged 5 and up, where they can deepen their understanding of the technique in 45-minute classes. As they progress, we offer Grade 1 and 2 tap classes for students moving up from the primary level, allowing them to further develop their skills in line with the IDTA syllabus.
When it comes to our classes, we ensure that they are held in bright, airy, clean, and safe venues throughout the term. Our experienced teachers have successfully taught children at an exam level in the past and are dedicated to bringing out the best in each student, both in terms of enthusiasm and technique. Taking exams is not mandatory, but we highly encourage it as the exam syllabus is designed to gradually build confidence and improve technique. Since our establishment five years ago, we are proud to say that we have never had a child fail a dance exam.
In terms of payments, we operate on a per-term basis, but we understand that it can be intimidating to commit to something new. Therefore, we offer the option to attend the first lesson with a one-off payment as a trial. If a class is missed, we provide the opportunity to make it up on a different day of the week during the same half-term, ensuring that students don't miss out on valuable learning opportunities.
Children can start dancing with us from the age of five, and it's worth mentioning that tap exams may count towards UCAS points, providing an exciting opportunity for those looking to pursue higher education in the future. Additionally, we are delighted to inform you that students are more than welcome to take more than one dance lesson per week, should they wish to further develop their skills and passion for tap dancing.
To get started, specific clothing or equipment is not required initially. However, after a few weeks of classes, parents can consider purchasing a full kit if their child continues to enjoy tap dancing and wishes to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
We believe that our tap classes at Angelina Jandolo Dance - Blackheath offer a unique opportunity for children in London to discover the joy of dance, make new friends, and grow as talented tap dancers. Join us for an unforgettable experience that will leave you tapping your feet with delight!
