For our littlest swimmers, the Manly Andrew 'Boy' Charlton (MABC) Swim School offers a fantastic children's swim program. From Monday to Saturday, children can take part in 30-minute lessons that focus on developing strong swimming technique and essential water safety skills. These lessons continue even during school holidays, ensuring that our young swimmers get plenty of practice.
But that's not all! For children aged 6 to 36 months, we have Parent and Child Water Familiarisation Classes. These classes are a great way to introduce water safety to our youngest participants. In just 30 minutes, infants will learn important skills such as going underwater, floating, jumping, turning, and holding.
Our Preschool Learn to Swim program is ideal for children aged 3 to 5 years. With five different levels, this program aims to build water confidence and teach vital water safety skills. From climbing out of the pool to floating and paddling, these classes gradually introduce freestyle and backstroke, ensuring a well-rounded swimming experience for our little ones.
For school-aged children, we have the Learn to Swim and Stroke Development program. With seven levels to choose from, this program offers a perfect balance of survival skills, stroke development, and correction. Our goal is to increase swimming strength and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
At the Palm Beach Rockpool Swimming Club, we believe that swimming should be accessible to all. That's why we offer Swim Stars, a program specifically designed for children with special needs. These classes focus on building muscle strength, physical endurance, flexibility, self-control, and safety. Both group and private lessons are available, ensuring that every child can thrive.
If you're ready to take your swimming to the next level, our 30-minute Minis program is perfect for you. This program serves as the entry level of our squad program and is tailored to swimmers who have completed the Active Award levels. The sessions focus on developing all four strokes, introducing basic training techniques, learning dives, correct turns, and the use of the pace clock. It's a fantastic way to enhance your swimming skills and strive for excellence.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to miss a lesson. That's why if a student is unable to attend, they can notify the swim school at least 30 minutes prior, and a family swim/practice pass for the missed lesson will be issued. Each student is entitled to six family practice passes per year, ensuring that you never miss out on valuable practice time.
For those times when you're away on vacation, our swim school offers four suspension weeks per year. With 14 days' notice, you can suspend your regular class and take advantage of a reduced rate of just $5 per lesson instead of the usual price. We want to accommodate your schedule and ensure that you get the most out of your swim school experience.
If you ever need to cancel swim school classes, simply fill out our cancellation form and submit it with at least 14 days' notice. We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to make the process as seamless as possible for you.
