Calling all dance enthusiasts and parents looking for an enriching activity for their little ones - Mavlow School Of Dance's Children's Classes offer an impressive range of dance styles suitable for children of different age groups.
For the youngest dancers, aged 2 1/2 to 4 years, there's the captivating Baby Class. In this delightful 30-minute session, children will be introduced to the magical world of Ballet and Tap. Nursery rhymes, dancing with dollies, and learning basic steps will make this class a truly enchanting experience for your little one.
Moving on to the Pre-Primary class, designed for children aged 4 to 5 years, your child will have the opportunity to explore Ballet, Modern Jazz, and Tap in a dynamic 50-minute session. The Tap section of this class will see children learning all the basic steps in a line formation, fostering their rhythm and timing skills. Modern Jazz will focus on enhancing flexibility in a fun and energetic way.
At 5 years old, the classes split into Ballet, Modern Jazz, and Tap. We highly encourage children to participate in both classes to enjoy a wider range of styles and reap the benefits of each subject complementing the others. Tap class, in particular, plays a significant role in developing rhythm and timing across all dance styles.
Our talented instructors teach the esteemed RAD Ballet Syllabus, as well as the renowned ISTD Modern Jazz and Tap Syllabi. This ensures that your child is receiving top-quality instruction and working towards examinations and ADA Medal Tests.
With classes ranging from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on grade and number of pupils, your child will receive tailored instruction that meets their needs. And for those young dancers with an insatiable passion for dance, we offer Private Lessons to further their dance study and even participate in exhilarating Dancing Competitions.
Our Private Lessons are an additional 30 minutes and must be accompanied by regular class attendance. It's a unique opportunity for your child to receive personalised attention and take their dance skills to the next level.
Looking to try something new? Our upcoming Competition Classes cater to all ages and promise an invigorating experience for dancers of any level.
