Chester Trampoline Gymnastics Club, located in Chester, offers trampoline gymnastics coaching for children aged 6-18. The club operates within the guidelines set by British Gymnastics to ensure minimum risks and prioritise the safety of its members. Trampolining not only provides great fun but also serves as a wonderful form of exercise. As you land on the trampoline bed, it absorbs up to 80% of the impact, reducing stress on your knees and joints while strengthening your legs.
The club also offers school holiday courses, with the next course scheduled for the Half term in 2024. Typically, the courses run for three days, with sessions from 12:30-1:30 and 1:30-2:30 on Tuesday to Wednesday. There are two courses available, with limited slots for only 20 participants. These courses are suitable for ages 8-18 and cater to all abilities.
Booking can be done through Brio online or by contacting the reception at 01244 380444. The cost for the three-day course is 21 per hour, with an additional 1 per day for non-leisure card holders. These courses are organised in association with Brio Leisure.
Regular sessions take place at Northgate Arena in Chester on Wednesdays at 4:00pm and 5:00pm, Thursdays at 3:45pm, 4:45pm, and 5:45pm, and Fridays at 5:15pm and 6:15pm. These sessions are open to ages 8-18, except for the Thursday session at 3:45pm, which is specifically for ages 6-11. Trampoline gymnastics sessions are also available at Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Mondays at 3:45pm, 4:45pm, and 5:45pm, catering to ages 8-18.
Chester Trampoline Gymnastics Club also offers coaching for organisations, including schools, charities, businesses, and local government entities in Cheshire and North Wales. These sessions can be conducted on a one-to-one basis or in groups. The coaching covers areas such as GCSE, A level, D of E award, and assists members in their pursuit of the BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Sport and Rebound Therapy.
For those interested in becoming coaches, the club welcomes individuals with trampolining or gymnastics experience. Becoming a coach allows you to contribute to the growth of the sport while helping children in Chester and Ellesmere Port. It also provides an opportunity to meet others who share your passion for trampolining.
