Looking for a fun and friendly place to enjoy Crown Green Bowling? Pop by Chester Road Bowling Club in Whitchurch, Shropshire! Bob and the team welcome everyone, whether you’re a seasoned player or trying bowling for the first time. They offer free coaching for beginners and can even lend you some bowls if you need them. It's a great way to stay fit, make new friends, and enjoy the fresh air.
The club is open from April to September, with matches on most weekdays, both in the evenings and afternoons. And if you're new to the sport, don't miss the special beginner sessions every Monday afternoon at 1:30 pm— a perfect time to get started with some friendly guidance.
The clubhouse is modern and cosy, complete with a well-stocked bar that opens during evening matches—ideal for a bit of socialising after a game. There's also on-site parking for your convenience.
