Chess Power SuperChamps, a Chess club in Auckland, New Zealand, is excited to announce the upcoming chess tournament at Eden Rugby Football Club. This event is not your average chess tournament - it's NZCF & FIDE rated, meaning serious players can earn some serious cash prizes.
If you're between the ages of 4 and 18 and have a passion for chess, this tournament is for you. Don't worry, no adults allowed - this is strictly for the young guns looking to showcase their skills. Players will be placed in different grade brackets based on their NZCF rating, giving everyone a fair shot at the prize money.
The tournament kicks off bright and early at 9:30 am with six rounds of intense chess matches. Fear not, there will be breaks for lunch and prize givings to keep you fueled and motivated. Rest assured, emergency contact details will be readily available in case of any issues on the day of the event.
