At Theatretrain Chelmsford, we believe in building both performer skills and inner confidence. Our sessions focus on storytelling, attitude, and adaptability, ensuring that our students become well-rounded individuals who can excel on stage and in life. We want to empower young people, giving them the tools they need to succeed not only in performing arts but in any path they choose to take.

Our training sessions take place at Great Baddow High School in Chelmsford. We offer two main programmes: the Main Company for ages 6-18 and the Junior Ensemble (TT Minis) for ages 4-5. The Main Company sessions are divided into age groups: 6-9, 9-12, and 13-18. These sessions are rehearsals for performances that take place later in the year.

The Junior Ensemble sessions are 90 minutes long and provide a fun foundation in theatre training for our youngest performers.

Theatretrain Chelmsford is proud to have an excellent track record. We have trained numerous pupils, and some of them have gone on to perform at The Royal Albert Hall, international stages, and even West End shows including the iconic London Palladium.
