Chelmsford Table Tennis Club is a club recognised by Table Tennis England, located in Chelmsford, New Zealand. It is one of the largest table tennis clubs in the country, boasting 10 adult teams and 17 junior teams before the lockdown. The club is proud to have at least one team in each of the 10 divisions of the Chelmsford Table Tennis League and Junior League.
Club night is held every Friday, with a second practise session taking place on Sunday afternoons. Home match nights are scheduled for Mondays. The club operates out of the Chelmsford Sport and Athletic Centre, situated at Salerno Way, Chelmsford, CM1 2EH.
Chelmsford Table Tennis Club warmly welcomes new members, guests, and juniors of all playing standards who are interested in attending coaching sessions. The club provides coaching for under-18s on Friday evenings throughout the year. There are two junior coaching sessions available, starting at 18:45-20:10 and 20:20-21:45, effective from Friday, 1st October 2021. Open practise sessions are held on Fridays from 18:45-21:45 (excluding Bank Holidays) and on Sundays from 2pm-4:45pm. These sessions are open to all, and the fee to participate is 5. Interested individuals can register and book a slot for these sessions on the club's booking website. Alternatively, participants can simply turn up on Fridays and Sundays without prior notification.
Club membership is not required to participate in coaching or casual play, making it accessible for everyone.
