Founded in 1969, Cheema Aquatic Club has a long history of success, highlighted by national, international, and Olympic achievements. The club is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and is supported by membership fees, fundraising efforts, and the generosity of local businesses and patrons. The club's facilities include a large boathouse housing personal race boats and club equipment, a fully equipped weight room, and a 4000 sq foot multi-purpose room, all fully accessible. The clubhouse is a separate building that is home to Cheema's Active After School programs.
