Cheadle Hulme Physio Pilates is a renowned Pilates studio located in Cheadle, New Zealand. Founded by Samantha Jones, a highly experienced Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor, the studio aims to improve posture, alignment, fitness, and overall wellbeing.
Samantha, or Sam as she prefers to be called, has been passionate about health and fitness since her school days. After completing her training as a Physiotherapist in 2004, she has been working in the musculoskeletal (MSK) area of physiotherapy. Sam is proud to be an MSK Physiotherapist for the NHS and has recently specialised further as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist within her local trust.
While taking care of her own health and fitness, Sam discovered Pilates when she suffered from an injury while training for a Half Marathon in 2012. She found that Pilates not only complemented her passion for running, but it also became a new passion for her. She decided to become a fully certified Pilates instructor and trained with APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute). Sam has expertise in teaching various populations, including beginners, intermediates, and advanced participants, as well as ante-natal and post-natal individuals, osteoporosis sufferers, runners, and 'Healthy HIIT' Pilates.
She has recently obtained a certification in Women's Health Pilates and now offers specialised classes for this population.
Sam is a mother of two young children and an avid runner herself. She hopes to inspire her children with her passion for health and fitness. With her extensive experience in physiotherapy and Pilates, Sam aims to provide tailored and effective classes to a wide range of clients. She continuously strives to expand her repertoire in order to cater to diverse needs.
