Established in 1990 and officially opened by HRH The Princess of Wales, Charnwood Indoor Bowls Club has a strong and inclusive community of over 400 playing members. We cater to bowlers of all ages, starting from 8 years old. Our club prides itself on being all-inclusive and offers provisions for disabled bowlers, including those with visual impairments and wheelchair users.

At Charnwood Indoor Bowls Club, we offer a wide range of activities and events to suit all skill levels and interests. We host interclub competitions, friendlies, daytime and evening leagues, as well as bowls drives and casual bowling sessions. Whether you're a seasoned bowler looking for competitive play or a newcomer wanting to try this unique sport, there's something for everyone.

In addition to our exceptional playing facilities, we also have a newly refurbished lounge and bar where we serve delicious food and beverages. Our menu features a variety of options, including bar snacks like crisps, nuts, and mini cheddars, as well as toasted teacakes, bacon/sausage rolls, chips, filled rolls, salads, scones, cakes, and cookies. We invite you to enjoy a post-game meal with friends or stop by after a shopping trip in Loughborough.

Membership at Charnwood Indoor Bowls Club comes with numerous benefits. Our dedicated and qualified coaches provide free coaching sessions every Sunday morning from 10am to 12 noon, allowing bowlers to improve their skills all year round.
