Charlestown Football Club is a vibrant and dynamic youth football club located in the picturesque town of St Austell, Cornwall. Established in 1972 as part of the 2nd Charlestown Scout group, the club has since flourished and now boasts a membership of over 300 players aged between 5 and 16 years old.

At Charlestown Football Club, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for boys and girls who are passionate about playing football. Our teams cater to a wide range of age groups, starting from 6 years old and going up to 16 years old. We believe in nurturing the talents of our young players while also instilling important values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline.

One of the highlights on our annual calendar is our much-anticipated summer tournament. This event has gained a reputation as one of the largest tournaments in Cornwall, with over 100 teams regularly participating. It is a thrilling showcase of talent and a celebration of the beautiful game, bringing together players, coaches, and families from all over the region.

Since 2006, Charlestown Football Club has operated the Mini Soccer Centre at St Mewan Park. This facility provides a safe and friendly environment for boys and girls to develop their skills and enjoy the excitement of football. We are passionate about ensuring that all young players have access to quality coaching and training facilities, allowing them to thrive and reach their full potential.
