Welcome to Charlbury Pilates! Located in Chipping Norton, our studio offers a wide range of Pilates, Barre, and exercise classes that are designed to challenge, engage, and have fun. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, we have classes to fit all levels.
At Charlbury Pilates, we believe in the power of Pilates to help individuals move better and improve their overall health and wellness. We offer private reformer Pilates sessions, where you can experience the benefits of the reformer machine and take your Pilates practise to a new level. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through personalised sessions to help you lengthen, strengthen, and discover what your body is capable of.
In addition to our reformer sessions, we also offer a variety of Pilates classes, both in-person and online. You don't have to be a member to attend our classes. Simply book through our member portal and join us to move your body and improve your fitness.
Looking for something a little more relaxing? Our studio also offers massage therapy with Katie. Whether you're in need of some body work or simply want to relax, our massage therapy sessions will leave you feeling rejuvenated and stress-free. You can book a massage at our private studio in Bampton or arrange for Katie to come to you.
Interested in learning more about your body and how it moves? We also offer biomechanical screenings to help you understand your body's strengths and areas for improvement. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing your strength, balance, and multi-planar movement.
Charlbury Pilates is led by Michele Marietta, a highly experienced instructor and dancer. With training from various methods including Stott, Polestar, and Balanced Body, Michele brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her teaching. She is passionate about anatomy and physiology, with a current focus on foot health. Her goal is to help individuals feel stronger and move better through Pilates.
Katie Medic, another talented member of our team, specialises in Pilates and massage therapy. Before discovering Pilates and massage, Katie struggled with chronic back pain that affected her daily life. Through her own journey of healing, she understands the challenges and limitations that pain can bring. Now, she is dedicated to helping others overcome their pain and regain their ability to move freely.
