Leigh Chapman, the Head Coach at Gisborne Tennis Club, has over 20 years of coaching experience. He is a Club Professional Coach and has been instrumental in the development of many young players. Leigh's strengths lie in his consistency and endurance on the court, and he encourages his students to compete hard and never give up. His coaching style is positive and engaging, and he provides feedback to his students to help them practise and improve on their own.

Leigh's favourite player is Stefan Edberg, known for his amazing serve-and-volley game and calm temperament. Glen Chapman, the Junior Development coach at Gisborne Tennis Club, has been coaching for 12 years. He is passionate about passing on his knowledge of the game and helping his students develop a love for tennis. Glen's strengths on the court include his agility and strategic thinking.

He focuses on developing solid fundamentals in his students and pushing them outside their comfort zones to help them reach their full potential. Glen's favourite player is Roger Federer, admired for his grace, versatility, and sportsmanship.
