The Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Club is proud to announce the upcoming Baseball event for the Challenger Baseball Program. It's a wonderful opportunity for children with cognitive or physical disabilities to take part in the joy of playing baseball in a supportive environment. The games are all about having fun, with no emphasis on scores. Each participant is paired with a 'Buddy' to assist them throughout the game, ensuring everyone can fully participate. The sense of camaraderie and inclusivity is truly heartwarming to witness.
The sessions will take place every Monday evening from May to June at the Ross Hennigar Baseball Park. It's a chance for families to come together and enjoy the benefits of this wonderful program. The participants will have the opportunity to play at the local baseball park, all while wearing uniforms and using the same equipment as everyone else. It's all about creating a level playing field and allowing each child to experience the thrill of playing baseball. Your child will have a blast, and you'll see the pure joy on their faces as they participate in this special program. Be sure to mark your calendars and join us for some baseball fun at the Ross Hennigar Baseball Park!
