Onboard, you'll find all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable journey. The day begins with check-in at the Quicksilver Reservations Counter located inside the Port Douglas Marina at 7.30 am. As you board the vessel, you'll be treated to a complimentary morning tea/breakfast. Then, it's time to set sail for the Outer Barrier Reef. Dive briefings will be conducted during the journey, so you'll be well-prepared for the incredible dive sites that await you.
At the first reef location, certified divers gear up while snorkellers receive informative site briefings. You'll then have the opportunity to explore two more stunning reef locations, with snorkellers receiving additional guidance on the best areas to snorkel. Certified divers can even opt for a third dive or a second introductory dive if they're up for it!
You won't go hungry on this adventure either. A tropical hot and cold buffet lunch will be served in the air-conditioned cabin, ensuring you have plenty of fuel to keep exploring the underwater wonders. And don't worry, afternoon tea is also provided to keep your energy levels up.
As the day comes to an end, the Silversonic cruise will return to Port Douglas Marina. From there, coaches will depart for accommodation, ensuring a convenient and seamless experience for all participants.
