Ceroc Worplesdon, located near Guildford in Surrey, is a popular dance school and club that offers social partner dance classes. The venue, Worplesdon Memorial Hall, is a stunning and friendly space with a fantastic dance floor, state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. There is also an additional smaller hall for beginner's practise sessions and a separate kitchen area where attendees can socialise and enjoy complimentary teas, coffees, and sweet treats.
The team at Worplesdon consists of Siu Fai, the main instructor, along with DJs Kevin M and Howie who alternate on different weeks. Yvonne and Katherine, along with the friendly 'taxi' team, will greet you at the front desk and ensure that you have an incredible night of dancing and socialising. New members are welcome every week, and no need to book in advance.
The dance classes at Ceroc Worplesdon are suitable for all skill levels, and beginners are especially encouraged to join. The Tuesday schedule includes a beginner's dance lesson at 7. 45pm, followed by either intermediate-level classes or a beginner's practise session at 8. 45pm.
From 9. 15pm to 10. 45pm, there is freestyle social dancing where attendees can practise their newly learned moves. Complementary teas and coffees are available starting from 9.
30pm.
Membership at Ceroc Worplesdon is required, with a one-time fee of 3. Dance lessons and freestyle dance with membership are priced at 12, while entry after 9. 15pm with membership is 9. 50.
Payments can be made in cash or by card. Additionally, there are special offers available, such as a first-timers' half-price offer before 9. 30pm and a '6-4-3' deal where paying 39 for 3 classes will grant a voucher for entry to 6 classes.
Ceroc Worplesdon also announces its Christmas closures, with the final class night of the year on Tuesday 19th December and reopening on Tuesday 9th January the following year.
Getting to the venue is convenient, as it is located on the main A322 road from Guildford towards Bisley, Lightwater, and Bracknell. Worplesdon Station, which serves South Western Railway trains to/from London Waterloo and Guildford, is just under 2 miles away. The venue has its own large public car park, and parking is free. It is important to park only in designated spaces and not on the sports field or grassed areas.
