Ceres Calisthenic Club is a sports club based in Ashwood, Victoria, and has established itself as one of Victoria's leading callisthenics clubs since its inception in 1987. The club prides itself on its family values and championship dedication, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for athletes of all ages and abilities.
The club offers competitive teams in every age group, ranging from Tinies to Masters, and has been competing at the Championship level since 2002. In addition to team competitions, Ceres also offers pupil skills classes to help develop individual talents, with many of the girls going on to compete in solos.
The Electra Community Centre serves as the home to Ceres Calisthenic Club and features purpose-built studios designed with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind. The facility goes beyond the minimum requirements of the Building Code of Australia and provides an ideal training space for the athletes. Recently, the club expanded its facilities with the addition of a third studio in collaboration with the Monash City Council.
Ceres Calisthenic Club welcomes both girls and boys to join their classes, and they even have a dedicated boys' team when numbers permit. The club caters to all age groups, offering classes for Beginners (under 4) all the way up to Masters (over 26). Annual camps and a Summer School are also organised for the pupils to enhance their skills and foster a sense of camaraderie. This year, Ceres will be running transition classes for performers interested in joining their championship club, providing them with an opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and gain firsthand experience of being part of CaliChamp.
For those who have a passion for callisthenics and aspire to be the best they can be, Ceres Calisthenic Club invites them to join in the fun and become part of their thriving community. To learn more about the club and their offerings, visit their website linktr. Ee/cerescalisthenics.
