Century Ponds

Century Ponds is a well-loved fishing spot and club in Bristol, managed by the Keynsham Angling Association, which has been around since 1903. They offer both day tickets and memberships for anglers at all levels.

With over 450 members, Century Ponds provides access to Coarse and Game fishing across five miles of the River Chew and the Bristol Avon. The waters are well-stocked and maintained, offering a variety of fish species, including silver fish and carp. There are strict rules in place to ensure responsible fishing.

For convenience, day tickets and licences can be purchased at multiple outlets, such as Go Outdoors in Brislington, J. P. Angling in Kingswood, and Zubs Keynsham, although Zubs only accepts cash.

Century Ponds regularly organises working parties to keep the grounds in top shape. These events involve ground clearance, hedge trimming, grass cutting, and peg maintenance. Participants can earn free day tickets or fish for free on these days.
