Centre Marin Des Blanchons Inc is a non-profit sailing school located in Qubec City, founded in 1976. The school's mission is to make sailing and the marine world accessible to as many people as possible. Accredited by Sail Canada and the Fdration de Voile du Qubec, the school has trained over 5000 students in safe sailing practices since its inception.
During the summer, Centre Marin Des Blanchons Inc offers sailing courses at different levels on their two sailboats located in Rimouski, namely the Maya Saravah & the Blanchons. Qc. Ca. In the winter, the school provides courses in the Caribbean starting from the island of St-Martin on their 40-foot sailboat, the Princess Kiwi.
Starting from the winter of 2018-2019, the courses will be back in St-Martin. The school also offers a comprehensive instructor training program for sailing, with many former instructors now holding key positions in various sailing schools in Qubec.
All revenues generated by the Centre Marin Des Blanchons Inc are reinvested in member services, upgrading vessels, and enhancing their unique sailing course program.
