Central Scotland Ballet School began as a branch of the prestigious 'Scottish Academy of Dance' and has since grown to become one of Scotland's leading part-time ballet schools. The school was established by Mrs. Jacqueline Clark, who quickly built a fine reputation for the school. Her daughters, Amanda and Samantha, have joined her as associate directors and teachers, ensuring that the high standards set by Mrs.
Clark are maintained and that the school remains a family business.
The school offers training in Classical Ballet using the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus. Students also receive professional tuition in commercial dance styles, as well as workshops with guest professional dance tutors. Many students enhance their training by successfully auditioning for professional Associate schemes and attending holiday courses at dance colleges throughout the UK. Annually, students from Central Scotland Ballet School gain places at top full-time ballet schools and dance colleges across the UK.
During the pandemic, the school successfully transitioned to online classes, ensuring that students could continue their dance education without interruption. Central Scotland Ballet School is committed to providing high-quality dance education, whether it be in-person or online, and is dedicated to supporting its students in reaching their full potential.
