One of COYSA's popular programs is Mini Soccer for children aged U7-U10, with fields opening in mid-April. Schedules are posted before the first games, and a new rule for U10 and under games requires a kick-in restart when the ball goes out of bounds. Team formation is done by Clubs in the area, with a maximum of 16 players per team for U7/U8 and 14 players per team for U9/U10. Teams typically practice once a week and play games on Saturdays from early/mid-April to the end of June, with a break in summer and a return after Labour Day weekend until the year-end tournament before Thanksgiving.
