The teaching starts with a Qigong class from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by a Wu Style Tai Chi class from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The classes are designed to benefit both beginners and experienced practitioners, with a focus on building a strong foundation in Qigong as a basis for Tai Chi practise.
For those new to Qigong, the classes will involve standing and movement, incorporating elements from Dragon and Tiger Qigong, as well as Energy Gates Qigong. The Wu Style Tai Chi class teaches the 27-move Short Form developed by Bruce Frantzis, in collaboration with his teacher Liu Hung Chieh. This form is known for its effectiveness in promoting physical well-being, relaxation, and mindfulness.
Central London Tai Chi & Qigong follows a structured pricing system, with blocks of 5 classes and terms of 10 classes. The first class is free for new beginners, and there is a 20% discount for new beginners signing up for a block or term. The options include a single block for either Qigong or Tai Chi, priced at 50, a single block for both classes at 87. 50, and a full term for both classes at 175.
Students have the flexibility to attend any 5 classes within a term, or all 10 classes for both disciplines.
