Our Club is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all players, officials, and members. We believe that everyone matters and strive to make everyone feel like they belong. We embrace diversity and welcome players and families from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, race, religion, or playing ability.
With over 400 registered players, Caversham Suns Junior Football Club is one of the largest junior football clubs in the Central Conference. Our club offers football programmes for children from Auskickers (Pre-Primary to Year 2) to Modified (Year 3 to 6) and Youth (Year 7 to 11) registrations. We provide opportunities for both boys and girls to come together and share in their passion for AFL.
Since our establishment, we have seen significant growth and success. We have fielded 16 teams ranging from years 3 to 12 and have had success in player retention and growth. As an early adopter of female football, we have integrated girl's teams into our club seamlessly. Our high retention rate and increased player numbers are a testament to our inclusive culture, good governance, clear processes, and pathways.

Safety is a priority, and all our team officials have appropriate qualifications and checks to work with children. We promote a culture where enjoying the game is just as important as winning, and we encourage all players, parents, officials, and members to do their best and be recognised for their efforts.
Our experienced coaches focus on teaching skills and teamwork to support and motivate players to improve their football abilities.
