Section and by 1955, CGFC was playing in A Section. The club experienced a period of success in the 1960s, winning premierships in 1960, 1961, and 1962. During this time, CGFC produced several talented players who went on to play at the elite level, including Geoff Blethyn, Robert Close, and Peter Brenchley.
Throughout the years, CGFC has continued to be a strong force in the VAFA. The club has had its fair share of ups and downs, but through it all, the Caulfield Grammarians' spirit has remained strong. The club prides itself on its rich history and the strong sense of camaraderie among its players and supporters.
In addition to the senior team, CGFC also has a thriving under 19s team and a women's football team. The under 19s team provides a pathway for young players to develop their skills and eventually progress to the senior level. The women's team, on the other hand, is a recent addition to the club and has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the VAFA Women's competition.
Off the field, CGFC is deeply connected to its community. The club has strong ties to Caulfield Grammar School, with many current and former students representing the club on the field. CGFC also actively engages with the local community through various programmes and events.
The Caulfield Grammarians' Football Club is not just a football club, but a tight-knit community that is passionate about the game and dedicated to fostering the development of its players. Whether you're a player, supporter, or a member of the local community, CGFC welcomes you to be part of its proud history and exciting future.
