Experience the ultimate thrill of catarafting with Propulsion Rafting on the Red River! The cataraft, an inflatable watercraft for one or two people, will take you on a journey through Class 3 to 4 rapids. This is the perfect adventure for rafting enthusiasts looking for a new challenge, all under the professional guidance of a kayak guide.
Navigate your own cataraft through Quebec's most beautiful whitewater course, surrounded by stunning scenery. Prior rafting experience and good physical condition are strongly recommended for this exhilarating experience. The adventure kicks off at either 10:00 AM or 1:30 PM and lasts for 2 to 3 hours at a cost of $109 per person.
Don't forget to bring your spring gear like a tuque, mittens, and synthetic clothing to keep warm, and avoid wearing cotton attire. For summer trips, make sure to bring swimwear, water shoes, and sunscreen. Your experience includes a kayaking guide, helmet, whitewater training, paddle, transportation, and a safety belt. Participants must be aged 12 and above.
Remember that Propulsion Rafting has a strict no drugs or alcohol policy to ensure everyone's safety during the excursion. The day will start at the base where payments are completed and forms are filled out. You will receive basic whitewater training from our experienced guides before heading out on your thrilling adventure.
After nearly 3 hours of exciting catarafting, return to the base camp where you can enjoy the facilities, including a pool, volleyball court, spa, and showers. End your day with a cold beer while watching the day's video. Dining options are also available on-site with prior notice upon arrival.
