Located in Newcastle West, New South Wales, Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub is a multi-arts organisation dedicated to cultivating and championing professional contemporary dance practise, choreography, and multidisciplinary creation. With a strong focus on providing programmes for young people and the community, Catapult aims to be an industry leader in the contemporary arts and transform Newcastle into a regional epicentre of professional dance and choreographic collaboration.

At Catapult, the diverse programmes offered cater to a wide range of individuals. The Catapult Company is a professional dance company that commissions both national and international choreographers, providing opportunities for dancers to work with top professionals in the field. The Propel Residencies offer residencies to mid-career and emerging choreographers and multidisciplinary artists, specifically focusing on cross-collaborative processes. Through various international programmes, Catapult provides artists with opportunities for commissions, exchanges, and residencies across the globe, allowing them to expand their artistic horizons.

One of Catapult's notable initiatives is The Flipside Project, a youth initiative that incorporates senior, junior, and First Nations ensembles.
