Castleford Cricket Club, located in Castleford, Yorkshire, is a thriving cricket community with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1902. Known for producing talented homegrown players, the club has set its sights on nurturing the next generation of cricketers and further establishing Savile Park as the hub of the sporting community.

The club boasts two senior teams, the 1st XI and the 2nd XI. The 1st XI, having won promotion back to the ECB Yorkshire top League North in 2017, is determined to improve its performance in 2021, competing in the top division in the county. Meanwhile, the 2nd XI strives to continue nurturing the club's exciting young players in the York second tier.

Castleford Cricket Club is committed to increasing junior participation and development. The club has successfully run junior programmes such as All Stars Cricket and Enjoy Cricket 2020 under the guidance of club captain David Wainwright. With plans already underway for the forthcoming season, Castleford Cricket Club aims to attract a larger number of junior players at all age group levels.
