Carrickvale Golf Club has an amazing Senior Section that operates within the club, providing a fantastic opportunity for our members aged 60 and over. With an annual subscription fee of just £10, this section offers a wealth of activities and competitions exclusively for our senior members.
The Senior Section gathers every second Thursday morning during summer and once a month from October to March. They have their own dedicated competitions and trophies, ensuring that our senior members always have something exciting to look forward to on the greens. It's all about friendly competition and camaraderie!
To make the golfing experience even more enjoyable, all the competitions in the Senior Section are played from the yellow tees. This allows our senior players to fully embrace their skills and talents, while utilising the World Handicap System (WHS). It's all about levelling the playing field and ensuring that every golfer has a fair shot at victory.
But that's not all – the Senior Section also organises a highly anticipated annual outing. This outing has become a real crowd-pleaser, drawing in enthusiastic participants who are eager to spend an entire day on the course, surrounded by fellow golf lovers. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and create lasting memories, all while doing what you love.
