Just popping in with a quick note from Jack, our local organiser at Cardenden Boxing Club in Lochgelly. 🥊
Jack wants to remind everyone that our beloved club, started way back in 1919 by the Bowhill miners, has been a cornerstone for boxing in the community. Fast forward to 2019, and we’ve celebrated a century of producing champions and Scottish internationalists alike.
Cardenden Boxing Club offers facilities and classes for everyone, no matter your fitness level. While our main gig is amateur boxing, we've got something for everyone, even those just looking to stay fit.
Training sessions are a mix of technique drills, bag work, sparring (when you're ready), skipping, and circuits. All our coaches are qualified AIBA instructors and PVG checked, keeping an eye on discipline, respect, honour, self-control, and a healthy lifestyle. And don't worry, we provide the gear—just bring your drive to compete!
Beginners, past boxers, and seasoned pros are all welcome. Just come ready to be pushed hard. Boxing’s tough, but the rewards—confidence, fitness, self-defence, and discipline—are epic.
Classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, and Fridays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. And it’s just £1.00 for members.
