Canoeing Ireland is the national governing body for paddlesport in Ireland, covering canoe slalom, canoe sprint and river kayaking. Based in Dublin 15, it supports paddlers through a training centre, education and instructor pathways, skills and instructor awards, and a calendar of community events, competitions and training opportunities. The organisation also promotes "safety on the water" guidance and disability inclusion for paddling.
