Sensei Paul Connor invites all enthusiasts, from curious beginners to seasoned karatekas, to train at this well-respected dojo. Based in the heart of Lanesfield, Wolverhampton, at the Lanesfield Methodist Church just opposite The Copper Bowl, the dojo is easily accessible for all.
Known for its top-notch standards, Cannon Shotokan expects students to embrace the respectful Japanese traditions of Shotokan Karate. Sensei Paul, along with Sensei David Byrne, is committed to creating a disciplined learning atmosphere where every student can thrive.
For the newcomers, there's a special arrangement: the first 5 to 10 lessons focus solely on getting those foundational moves and stances right. Once confident, students join the main class, training alongside peers of all levels.
Classes happen every Tuesday and Friday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Regular grading exams help track your progress, ensuring everyone moves up the ranks at the right pace. Remember, consistency is key – attend regularly and engage actively to earn your grades.
Led by experienced instructors, Cannon Shotokan provides a supportive environment for mastering the art of traditional Shotokan Karate.
