Welcome to Canning City Football Club, one of the oldest and largest football clubs in Western Australia. Established in 1972 as Canning Corinthians Soccer Club, the club has undergone several name changes to reflect the growth of the sport in Australia and is now known as Canning City Football Club.
Canning City FC is a true community club that welcomes players of all ages and abilities. With over 40 junior teams covering all age groups from 5 to 18, including a 16-year-old girls team, we provide opportunities for everyone to participate and foster a love for football. Our focus is on promoting a fit and healthy lifestyle while instilling a passion for the game.
As players progress through our junior ranks, they have the opportunity to continue playing into their adult years, regardless of their skill level. We offer various teams for seniors, including those participating in the Football West Saturday state league, Sunday Amateur League, and Sunday Masters League. Therefore, every member can find a suitable spot within our club, be it in state league, amateurs, socials, women's teams, or masters sides.
Located in Willetton, our club boasts some of the best training and playing facilities in the metropolitan area. Our newly floodlit Willetton Reserve and Burrendah Park provide an excellent setting for our teams to train and compete. Additionally, we host several annual sporting and awards events at these venues, creating a vibrant and inclusive club atmosphere.
Canning City FC values its rich history and invites past and present participants to contribute their memories and pictures to our club archive. By sharing these experiences, we allow others to appreciate the journey we have undertaken over the past 50 years.
The club is led by our dedicated committee members, including Jeff Rowlands as Club President, Nikki Palmer as Administrator, and David Paget as Club Secretary. They work tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the club and provide a welcoming environment for all members.
