Canine Companion Class

The Gold Coast Dog Obedience Training Club Inc, a prominent Dog Sports club in Gold Coast, is excited to announce its upcoming Canine Companion Class. This event aims to provide dog owners with the tools and knowledge they need to establish a strong bond with their furry friends.

Taking place over an eight-week period, this basic manners and obedience course is designed for dogs that are at least five months old. By utilising positive reinforcement methods, the knowledgeable trainers at Gold Coast Dog Obedience Training Club Inc will guide you in teaching your dog to not only enjoy working with you but also develop focus and impulse control.

Throughout this course, your four-legged companion will learn a variety of useful behaviours, including sit, drop, come, stay, and walk on lead. In addition to these fundamental skills, your dog will also be taught how to cooperate with handling and care. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to showcase your dog's talents by teaching them a trick of your choice.

To ensure a high-quality learning experience, we kindly request pre-enrollment for this event. As classes are limited to eight dogs, early registration is encouraged to secure your spot. New classes will commence on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, beginning from February through October.

Each class will span one hour per week, offering ample time for both instruction and practice. Whether you and your furry friend are beginners or have previous training experience, all levels of skill and expertise are welcomed at Gold Coast Dog Obedience Training Club Inc.
