Canadian University Volleyball Camp and Showcase, based in Markham, is a volleyball club dedicated to providing opportunities for young athletes to connect with Canadian university and college volleyball coaches. With a focus on fostering early connections between athletes and institutions, the club aims to facilitate recruitment journeys for aspiring volleyball players aged 15 and older.
The annual showcase brings together 41 women's teams and 31 men's teams from USports volleyball, offering a unique opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills directly to university and college coaches. The response from both athletes and coaches has been overwhelmingly positive, with many recruitment journeys starting at the showcase.
What sets the Canadian University Volleyball Camp and Showcase apart is the emphasis on forming connections “in person”, allowing coaches to assess not only the athletic abilities but also the personality and character of the athletes. This personal approach sets the showcase apart from virtual recruitment methods and highlights the importance of face-to-face interactions in the recruiting process.
The showcase is held at the prestigious Markham Pan-Am Centre, with the girls' event scheduled for December 15 and 16, followed by the boys' event on December 17 and 18, 2023. Registrations are limited to maximize university exposure for all athletes, so early registration is highly recommended to secure a spot at the event.
Join Canadian University Volleyball Camp and Showcase this December to explore your opportunities and connect with top universities from across Canada. Don't miss the chance to showcase your skills and kick-start your recruitment journey in the world of university volleyball.
