The Canada Bay Football Institute (CBFI) is a leading soccer practise located in Concord, New South Wales. CBFI aims to be the go-to destination for all things football in the local area. With a focus on building a culture and love for the game, CBFI caters to players of all ages and abilities, starting from the youngest grassroots level players right through to the oldest footballers.
The main objective of CBFI is to foster an enjoyment of football that lasts a lifetime. They achieve this by providing comprehensive training programmes, technical support through their academy, community involvement through tournaments and events, and state-of-the-art facilities. CBFI's philosophy is centred around community and putting the kids at the heart of the game. They believe in involving young players from a grassroots level, allowing them to actively shape and create their own soccer journey. CBFI ensures an inclusive, enjoyable, competitive, and fun environment, where players can thrive and develop their skills.
CBFI is a collaborative effort between Inter Lions FC and Concord Juniors FC, two well-established soccer clubs in the area. With their combined expertise and resources, CBFI offers a range of services to cater to different player needs. This includes goalkeeper training, Monday Academy for 4 to 7-year-olds, Monday Academy for 8 to 12-year-olds, Wednesday Academy for 8 to 12-year-olds, and Wednesday Int/Adv Youth for 13-year-olds and seniors.
Led by skilled and licenced coaches, CBFI provides a professional development programme that caters to all ages, genders, and abilities. The academy operates on a term basis, with the new term starting from 5th February 2024. Registration for the new term is currently open.
In addition to their regular academy programme, CBFI also offers a Holiday Clinic during the summer. This clinic is a great opportunity for players to fine-tune their skills, meet new teammates, and have fun during the school holidays.
