Archery Range is excited to promote the upcoming Canada Cup West, an annual event that brings together archers from the Western Provinces and Territories of Canada. The event, scheduled from May to Mid-June, features a range of competitions including a 720 round, elimination round, and mixed team competition. Archers of all levels, from Master to Cadet, compete in Recurve, Compound, and Barebow divisions.
The 2024 Canada Cup West is set to take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba from June 7-9, 2024. This event aims to showcase regional archery talent, celebrate the sport of Archery, and provide a platform for athletes to achieve personal best performances. It also serves as a potential selection criteria for International events.
Participants can look forward to engaging in individual and team rounds, including a 720 Target qualification round, Individual Match Play, and Mixed Team Match Play. There are additional events like the 'Optional 720' for all archers, and the CanWest Youth Cup for U15 participants.
Coaches are required to be licensed as per Archery Canada standards, and National Classification will be available for Para Archers. Make sure to submit medical intake forms by May 6, 2024. The competition will be held at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Registration opens on March 1st with varying deadlines and fees based on participation in the Mixed Team category.
