Its prime location allows for easy access to the 2,000m international rowing course where Rowing NZ athletes train. The club's facilities are divided into two levels. Upstairs, members have access to an erg room for indoor rowing practise and a kitchen area. Downstairs, there are changing rooms and a boat shed. Adjacent boat shed spaces are also available for use. Outside, there is a convenient car park, boat ramp, and one or more pontoons for easy access to the lake.
